Production Info

"Easton's Article" was built on the pennies and kindness of a community who believe in independent filmmakers. Through a combined effort of letters to friends/family along with a Kickstarter.com campaign championed by the people of Dubuque, IA, the production was successfully funded in November 2010. The full production took a total of 21 days in a blizzard-filled Iowa December, warmed by a small but spirited cast and crew. Shot on the industry renowned digital Red One camera, the production used the scenic beauty of the bluff filled tri-state area as its backdrop utilizing key locations that included Town Clock Plaza, The Mississippi River Museum, 4th Street Elevator, Air Lines Inn Motel, and the gorgeous hiking trails of the Mines of Spain.
